Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using any feature of OurConnection.club ("OurConnection", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

2. Who can use OurConnection

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. OurConnection includes dating and matchmaking features and is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 18, regardless of parental or guardian consent. By using the platform you confirm you meet this requirement.

OurConnection is available globally. It is your responsibility to ensure your use complies with the laws of your country.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You may not share your account or impersonate another person.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Report any unauthorized use to support@ourconnection.club immediately.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Post hateful, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content.
• Spam, phish, or attempt to defraud other users.
• Use the platform to advertise services outside of your teacher profile.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform.
• Create fake accounts or manipulate ratings and reviews.
• Share private information about another user without consent.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, messages, bios). By posting it, you grant OurConnection a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content as part of operating the platform.

You are solely responsible for your content. We may remove any content that violates these terms at our discretion.

6. Teachers and lessons

• Teachers are independent providers, not employees of OurConnection.
• OurConnection is not responsible for the quality or outcome of lessons.
• Teachers must represent their qualifications accurately.
• Lesson cancellations and refunds are governed by the teacher's own policy, except where OurConnection's refund policy applies.
• OurConnection reserves the right to remove a teacher from the platform for violations of these terms.

7. Payments and subscriptions

OurConnection offers the following plans:

• Free — $0/month, limited access
• Standard — $4.99/month
• Premium — $9.99/month
• Business — $49.99/month
• Creator — $19.90/month, available once a Creator application is approved
• Boost — $2.99 one-time, 24-hour visibility boost

Prices may be shown in your local currency or adjusted for your country; the plans and access levels above stay the same.

Regional pricing: In selected countries, plans are charged in local currency at the same numeric value (for example, R$4,99 in Brazil). In other countries, a regional USD price may apply instead (Standard $0.99, Premium $1.99, Creator $3.99, Business $9.99, Boost $0.99). The exact price for your country is always shown on the plans page and again at checkout, before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your profile page, or directly through your PayPal account. Payments are processed via PayPal. We do not store your payment details.

8. Paid community events

Creators may sell tickets to live events and classes held in their community. Creators are independent organizers, not employees of OurConnection, and are responsible for the content and delivery of their events.

Fees. Ticket prices are set by the creator and charged in US dollars via PayPal. OurConnection keeps a 15% platform fee on each ticket sold; the creator receives the remaining 85%.

Refunds for ticket buyers:

• If the creator cancels the event, every buyer receives a full refund automatically.
• If the creator does not show up, or the event cannot take place because of a technical failure on our platform, contact support@ourconnection.club within 7 days of the event and you will receive a full refund.
• You can cancel your own ticket for a full refund up to 24 hours before the event starts, from the event page.
• Tickets cancelled less than 24 hours before the event starts, and tickets for events you do not attend, are not refundable.

Refunds are returned to the original PayPal payment method. Depending on PayPal and your bank, they may take a few business days to appear.

Payouts to creators. The creator's share of each ticket stays pending until 7 days after the event takes place (the refund window). After that, it becomes available and the creator can request a withdrawal at any time from Creator Studio, provided the available balance is at least $10. OurConnection pays approved withdrawals by Pix or bank transfer within 2 business days. Amounts refunded to buyers are never paid out to the creator. If a sale is reversed through a PayPal dispute or chargeback after it was paid out, OurConnection may deduct that amount from the creator's future earnings.

9. Community subscriptions

Creators may offer a monthly subscription to their community. Joining a community stays free; a subscription gives access to the posts, recorded classes and materials the creator marks as exclusive for subscribers. Creators are responsible for the content they publish and must own, or have the right to share, everything they offer to subscribers.

Price and fees. The monthly price is set by the creator and charged in US dollars via PayPal, automatically every month from the day you subscribe. OurConnection keeps a 15% platform fee on each payment; the creator receives the remaining 85%. If a creator changes the price, it only applies to new subscribers.

Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from the community page, or through your PayPal account. After cancelling you are not charged again and keep access until the end of the month you already paid for. If the creator turns subscriptions off, all subscriptions are cancelled the same way: no further charges, and access continues until the end of the paid month.

Refunds. Monthly charges are not refundable, except when required by law or when a charge was made in error. Contact support@ourconnection.club within 7 days of a charge if you believe an error occurred.

Payouts to creators. The creator's share of each monthly payment stays pending for 7 days after the payment, then becomes available for withdrawal under the same rules as event tickets in section 8 (minimum $10, paid by Pix or bank transfer within 2 business days). Refunded or reversed payments are never paid out, and may be deducted from future earnings if they were already paid.

10. Intellectual property

The OurConnection name, logo, design, and software are owned by OurConnection and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OurConnection is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between users.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your content may be removed.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or a banner on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
